Corona Challenge Team Tournament, fall 2021
We are once again providing a friendly, invitational VASL* tournament for the Bodø ASL group and friends in these virtual times. This time we will divide the participants into teams, who will play the other teams for both collective glory and for individual merit.
To provide for small but non-virtual prices for the winners, we will collect NOK50/EUR 5 from each players.

The tournament is played in three ordinary rounds.

CC-2021 Prizes
The prizes for the CC-2021 have been produced in Mario Aceto’s workshop:
The champion Tron Ljødal is awarded a specially designed dice tower. I have two similar dice towers myself and are very happy with them. The prize is in the mail!
Mario also sponsored the price for Fair Play/Nice opponent, a very nice dice cup/tray. It is awarded to Mikko Lukkari, a worthy winner among many good nominations from the participants. Thanks Mario, and hope to see many of your towers in the next tournament I attend!
CC 2021 – The Corona Challenge, the Vaccine edition
We are once again providing a friendly, invitational VASL* tournament for the Bodø ASL group and friends in these virtual times. We were very happy with the participation for the first edition, and the players were unanimously positive about the tournament and opponents. In this edition, we have taken some of the feedback into account in the scenario selection.
To provide for a 1st price, this time we will collect a tournament fee of NOK 50/EUR 5/USD 5 from each player.
The tournament is a Swiss style setup with no player elimination, 4 rounds, with one month to play each round during winter-spring 2020. (It is possible to skip rounds or leave the tournament, please just let the CinC know.)
If you want to participate, please contact Øyvind by January 10, 2021. Please state whether you are up for a PTO scenario in round 2, or if you rather would want to play an ETO scenario in round 2.

CC 2020 – The Corona Challenge
We are providing a friendly, invitational VASL* tournament for the Bodø players and friends, with short, classic scenarios suited for playing in one to two sittings with VASL and Discord/Skype. The tournament will be a Swiss style setup with no player elimination, 3-4 rounds with one month to play each round during Fall 2020.
If you want to participate, please contact Nils and/or Øyvind (see below) by August 28.
We shall fight in Norway. We shall fight through the journals, we shall fight through the annuals, we shall fight through the core modules, whatever the cost of those may be. We shall fight on virtual boards, we shall fight with random.org dice. We shall never surrender.
(Though, if you have to surrender, to skip one round or drop out of the tournament, please let the CinC and Co-CinC know before the drawing of the next round.)

All tournament participants are invited to an exclusive guided tour of The Norwegian Aviation Museum (https://www.luftfartsmuseum.no/) Friday at 14:00. Our guide will be Curator Karl L. Kleve. We meet at the museum parking lot at 13:45.
Friendly gaming:
We will happily try to arrange friendly gaming on Thursday and Friday. Let us know in advance and we will see what can be done.
